Customer Service Representative - Leland

Absolute Collision is in the Wilmington area and looking for a Customer Service Representative to be our newest team member, Join our team of like minded Auto Body experts today!

Requirements:

  • Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly customer waiting area.
  • Handle shop office supplies (order, stock, and maintain inventory).
  • Answer phones, take messages, and direct calls in a friendly manner according to ABA guidelines.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
  • Greet customers and instruct them on how to begin the estimate process.
  • Assist customer in filling out Estimate Info Sheet, if needed.
  • Follow up with unsold customers to try and schedule the job in the shop.
  • Monitor and schedule incoming assignments from our DRP partners.
  • Import all estimates written into Shop Manager and input all required marketing information.
  • Obtain authorizations from customer and/or third party for repair authorization.
  • Keep a schedule for the shops vehicle arrivals and estimate appointments.
  • Create RO and associated folders once the CSM has written and sold the estimate.
  • Handle the customer during drop-off of the vehicle.
  • Enter notes on vehicle arrival, delivery, and any communication with the customer or insurance company.
  • Handle the customer during delivery of vehicle - accept payment, provide and explain warranty.
  • Collect the correct payment amount upon delivery of the vehicle.
  • Record all incoming payments into the payment management system.
  • Correctly deposit all payments and send records of all deposits to the home office.
  • Log all shop checks and petty cash used.
  • Send all necessary paperwork to home office according to ABA guidelines.
  • Act as the contact for our Customer with future concerns, problems, or additional services.
  • Process all invoices according to ABA guidelines.
  • Monitor parts return slips to ensure that credit memos are received from vendors.
  • Monitor and assist in the investigation and collection of receivables.
  • Monitor nightly file backups/switch backup tapes.
  • Export and send weekly CSI list for customer follow-up.
