Opportunity and position information: $5,000.00 Sign On Bonus! Deer Park Mobile Lead Fleet Technician needed in our Charlotte, NC, facility

Occasional site visits to our North and South Carolina locations (to audit work of 3rd party vendors) required. Visits will be semi-annually based on the company needs

Schedule
Monday – Friday (no weekends!)
3:30 PM- 12:00 AM

Compensation
-Starting rate: $26.35 + overtime pay (based on experience and education)
-Shift Premium Pay (for 2nd shift)
-$5,000.00 Sign On Bonus (payable after 90 days of employment)

A typical day might include:
•    Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing fleet vehicles and equipment
•    Programing and recording assigned preventative maintenance tasks
•    Assisting in education of the Route Sales Representatives’ pre and post-trip inspections
•    Receiving and processing invoices for payment for multiple locations and dealing with vendors 
•    Maintaining parts inventory and budgets, including purchasing parts and processing invoices
•    Ensuring safe work practices
•    Oversee Fleet Technicians and provide direction as assigned by Lead Technician
•    Help schedule and support all work within the shop
•    Coordinate training for other fleet technicians
•    Manage costs according to budget and daily completion of repairs
•    Ensure DOT compliance
•    Program and record assigned preventative maintenance tasks
•    Maintain shop housekeeping standards and prepare end of month reporting and/or any other administrative requirements

What you need to have:
•    3-5 years’ experience with changing starters, radiators, fuel injectors in addition to preventative maintenance
•    High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
•    Ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds in all work conditions (indoor and outdoor)
•    A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
•    The ability to obtain CDL B (with airbrake endorsement) within 60 days of employment
•    Ability to obtain ASE T4 (airbrake) certification within 6 months of hire
•    The ability to work independently
•    Must have strong computer skills, including Outlook and Excel 
•    Must be able to manage multiple third-party vendors and credit card
