Opportunity and position information: Due to a recent promotion there is a Fixed Operations Director opening in the Mobile, AL Market! We are seeking a Talented Fixed Operations Director with experience to assist with our growth! Must be open to relocation.

Job Responsibilities:

* Oversee the service departments and work with service managers directly
* Travel required to each of the markets monthly
* Forecast goals and objectives for the service departments and strive to meet them
* Work with shop foreman to ensure customers vehicles are serviced properly and in a timely manner
* Attend local and regional manager meetings and conduct regional service dept. meetings with service managers
* Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service dept.
* Handle & resolve high level customer complaints
* Motivate, train, develop and reward employees
* Preparing an annual operating budget, goals and objectives for each department and monitoring the departments’ performance.
* Working with department managers to improve profitability and efficiency.
* Creating and maintaining a positive relationship with customers, ensuring that department staff is helpful, as well as making customer satisfaction a priority to ensure referral and repeat business.
* Working directly with customers and warranty clerks to administer warranty claims, as well as understanding and applying warranty guidelines
* Creating dealership service and pricing policies
* Ensuring that service repairs are performed efficiently and correctly by conducting spot checks on jobs
* Understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect operations, and comply with these regulations as well as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know regulations
* Assist the Service Managers in establishing individual sales goals and training curriculum tailored to each employee
* Establish competitive pay plans to keep personnel committed to customer satisfaction, retail sales, and team goals
* Ensure all department personnel represent the store in a professional manor and are provided with appropriate uniforms to comply with the company dress code
* Ensure each and every employee is trained to the appropriate skill level of their position for the utmost success and manufacturer certification
* Work with internal recruiters to help staff shops and attend national technical school meetings when available
* All other duties as assigned by the Managing Fixed Operations Director
* Continue to maintain our Automotive Group's value, quality, and integrity

Job Qualifications:

* Strong customer service skills and analytical thinking are a must
* Must be able to manage a team, motivate and develop
* Experience with ADP, Elead or other automotive software a must
* Experience as a technician or good technical aptitude preferred
* Must have 5+ years as a Service Manager
* Must have 5+ years of experience as a Regional Fixed Operations Director managing/overseeing multiple roof tops
* Must be willing and able to travel 50% plus of the time
* Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment
* Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (Background & Drugs)

Salary: Up to $180,000 with up to $110,000 Commission
